Matthew Emeny
Matthew is an internationally accredited artist and theatre practitioner. His theatre and film work have received awards and critical acclaim around the world; including Sir Kenneth's Branagh's, Best Inspired by Shakspeare award, for a short film adaptation of Othello. During Matthew’s MA in Creative Producing, he specialised in immersive and audience participation performances, leading him to become an associate resident artist at the award-winning Natural Theatre Company, performing in immersive and street performances across Europe. Matthew also works within the Naturals theatre school, teaching adult and youth classes in Bath and Bristol, directing their end of term shows. He has co-created large community projects in Bath and the Somer Valley and is currently working with the Pascal Theatre Company to bring multiple communities and refugee groups within the UK together to create a site-specific performance entitled ‘The Lost Stone’ in London July 2020. Matthew’s company Calf 2 Cow produces horror productions in the Southwest and London, with his last Show “BackPAGE”, which was shortlisted for the Charlie Hartill fund. Matthew has also directed three pantomimes that tour to schools around the Southwest.
Matthew most recently produced and created Father Christmas's Workshop, a family immersive experience taking place in a found location and converted into a performance space.
Dan Lewis-Jones
Dan is an independent producer for theatre. He is an associate producer for Bath Spa Productions and the Invulnerable Nothings. Past Productions include - A Christmas Carol, Open Door in association with OUTing the past and After Anyta. Based in Bath but originally from Cardiff Dan trained as an actor at Bath Spa University before completing his MA in Creative Producing. Dan will be leading our Swansea theatreLab initiative launching 1st Feb 2020.
